Me-hi-co
Submitted by Tim on Mon, 20/03/2006 - 16:15.Well assuming we've made it over the Atlantic, Lisa and I are now (a) married, and (b) relaxing under the Mexican sun on our hopefully fantastic honeymoon.
Thanks to everyone who came along on Saturday, and our parents for making it all possible, and mostly to Lisa for making me a very happy man. See you in a couple of weeks!
Cook family archives opened
Submitted by Tim on Mon, 09/01/2006 - 11:02.Following recent moves by the BBC and others to make more historical material available to wider audiences over the internet, Boinng is proud to present a treasure trove of gems from the Cook family slide archive, illustrating the formative years of yours truly in graphic detail - The 1970's. These date from about 1974 onwards - I'm the small one, the slightly bigger one is my sister Tam, and you can probably figure out the rest (thanks to my Dad for posting them!)
A little bit of news
Submitted by Tim on Tue, 22/03/2005 - 11:57.It's probably about time we came clean... on our first year's anniversary on Saturday, Lisa and I went to Southsea, and had chips, and sat on the end of the pier, and then I slipped onto one knee accidentally and before we knew it... we were engaged! Who knew?
To say we're happy is a bit of an understatement - expect a wedding about this time next year ![]()
Tim's 30th Celebrations
Submitted by Lisa on Wed, 27/10/2004 - 13:55.Boinng's Gallery has been updated to reveal the wonder that was Tim's 30th.
Tim had no idea where he was going, what he was doing or what we had in store for him. He was picked up at 10am on Saturday morning, whisked away to the ferry port, met by another contingent and onto the Isle of Wight where he was treated to the wonders of Sandown.
At the hotel he was met again by a further surprise contigent of the party...
A poem from an avid viewer...
Submitted by D-man on Fri, 30/07/2004 - 23:48.The hare and the tortoise
The hare and the tortoise were having a race,
And the hare expected to win.
(Confidentially, all the intelligent money
was rapidly going on him).
But the tortoise was happy, he knew he would win,
Cos he had something no-one expected...
A two-litre customised road-racing shell
That was secretly fuel injected!

I'll give it Five
Submitted by Tim on Tue, 16/09/2003 - 00:39.The reconstruction continues as the Reviews went back online tonight - they still need some work, since I don't like the front page and it's a little hard to find things without using the site search, but it's a start.
If anyone wants to review anything, you can now... in theory...
