This last Saturday, Lisa and I had the happy duty of attending the wedding of two of our best friends, Martin & Kristen - Lisa as bridesmaid and myself as (gulp) best man.

So Lisa and I were in Bristol on Saturday to see Giz & Cati walk the aisle, and a great day was had by all I think - there's a few pictures in the gallery here, and I daresay when the happy couple get back from their all-inclusive in Mauritius there'll be a few more

Aside from Giz & Cati, we got to meet Legionary (Andy) who was putting in a fine stint as best man, and got a wave at least from Cati's sister Mair - aka Hoochpooch.

I was thinking maybe someone ought to mention that it's now just a mere five days till two great patrons of this site finally tie the knot!

Peter (Giz) and Cati (Sunshine) announced their engagement here - http://www.boinng.com/node/181 - back in 2001, and this Saturday they're actually going to go through with it. Lisa & I will be making our way over to Bristol to cheer them on, and I daresay there'll be a few pictures here afterwards, if that's okay with them...

It's probably about time we came clean... on our first year's anniversary on Saturday, Lisa and I went to Southsea, and had chips, and sat on the end of the pier, and then I slipped onto one knee accidentally and before we knew it... we were engaged! Who knew?

To say we're happy is a bit of an understatement - expect a wedding about this time next year

There have been recent developments between the well known Boinng members, Giz and Sunshine. Yes, our two beloved members are now engaged. Yes, you did read that right, engaged!!

This situation occurred about a week ago, when Giz asked the well known question of Sunshine, and was rewarded a couple of days later with the answer 'yes!', and so it is now official, Sunny and Giz are engaged
