To boldly get put back a bit

The world wept in unison yesterday, as the news broke that the new Star Trek film has been pushed back five months, from Christmas 2008 to May (May) 2009.
Supposedly it's about box office potential, and giving it a clearer run... I don't know. I just don't know what to say. There's nothing that can make this better, we're all just going to have to hang in there. If anyone wants to talk about it, you know I'm here for you.

PS - I've just realised this makes my desktop wallpaper (above) factually inaccurate, since it's not getting a 2008 release anymore. How am I meant to cope with that? You tell me?

There is no alternative - we will have to turn our shed into some kind of Enterprise replica and Tim can move in there.

Boo Hoo, not for me because I'm not really into Star Trek, but I'm sad for all you guys that are. I used to like the original tv series, with all the original characters but nothing else does it for me.
