As that other JJ Abrams film Cloverfield hits the theatres in the US, the sudden appearance of this site makes me over-excited, and more than a little impatient...

It was always meant to be pretty big, even in the original series, but the modelling and limited number of sets/extras probably hampered that a little..
The Enterprise had two decks
The Enterprise had two decks in the front of the saucer - I can see at least four. Not that there's anything wrong with retconning something for the better.

Not scared, I was just not expecting what it became - I don't want to say too much in case anyone wants to go and see it but I was really enjoying it until about half way through when it became slightly less fun!
