In what's probably the last Doctor Who-obsessed story here for a while, Who producer Julie Gardner has been talking about the 2009 gap year over on Digital Spy.

The gap year will of course be "marvellous" since it'll remind everyone how much they love the show, or at least that's the theory. While we're remembering that, there will be a total of four specials between now and the next series in 2010, with the first this Christmas, the second at Easter 2009, the third "TBA" and the fourth almost certainly at Christmas 2009.
