Bad news day

Happier daysHappier daysSo thanks then Gordon, it's been fun, I'm looking forward to the pantomine of the next few days/weeks while we have various senior party members telling the world that you're the best leader ever and this ladies' not for turning etc, but do please remember that it's all for show, and don't forget to leave in a dignified manner when it's all over. Come in number 10, your time is up.

I've no idea who's going to replace you, but I do know that somebody must. You've had a good go, but the job's not for you, let's be honest. The most important thing you can do for the country and the party now is make sure there's at least a chance that Cameron won't win the next election, by ensuring it's not simply you he has to beat. Goodbye, and good luck.

There is no one to replace

There is no one to replace him, John Prescott told me (and everyone else listening to the news). He said no one else has the experience to lead the country in the current economic crisis.
Do you reckon Tony Blair is secretly glad that Gordons time at the top has gone bad?

I suspect Mr Blair is

I suspect Mr Blair is positively cock-a-hoop! He never wanted Brown to succeed him, it was just a dodgy deal they made with each other back in the nineties to allow Blair to run unchallenged. What a way to run a country, honestly...

I can't decide whether he

I can't decide whether he should live or die.
