The first five who reply...

The first five who reply to this will get a Forest II DVD sent to them, completely free (even if you're in America!). I've made a DVD and I'm excited about it. We're talking early February for this.

It has all the usual DVD stuff - outtakes, scene selection, subtitles, and ofcourse the first Forest film. Nice animated menus... it's pretty good. I'll present it as well as I can, case-wise, but I can't guaruntee that part of it will be brilliant. But it will be. Oh yes, it will be.

Anyway. Like I say, first five, free. After that, you can buy me a Guinness.

The Forest II: Relentless Thirst Released; reality explodes

It's been nearly two years, but we're finally done. We had a premiere on Saturday, and it was lovely. Thanks to the 50 or so people who showed up - many more than we were expecting!

THE FOREST II: RELENTLESS THIRST
A year or two after the grim events that led Mike and Liam to take a shortcut through The Forest, they find themselves once again beerless and in desperate need of a fix. They must battle The Simons to retrieve beer. This 20-minute, tongue-in-cheek deadpan action comedy is directed by and stars Liam Comerford and Michael Connor as themselves, and Simon Plant as The Simons. 3D work by Paul Canning.

We hope you all enjoy. I am now going to sleep for the next few months at least - I'll see you all in the spring.

Over 3 years since I last posted a blog, but I feel in the mood..

... I just clicked the "render" button for the presentation version of The Forest II, which we will be showing in Liverpool tomorrow. It's been a long time coming.

New Secret 7000 site launched

The new website of The Secret 7000 has been launched at secret7000.co.uk. The site sports a new design and a lovely banner lovingly constructed by cheap third-world labour.

To mark the creation of the new site, we've put up a new video - Art Attack, a tribute to the British children's TV show of the same name. The best of the old stuff is back also, such as Boxmobiles and The Forest.

The best, however, is yet to come.

Secret 7000 to return to the net

The Secret 7000, having spent a full two months beating off photographers with sticks due to the popularity of The Forest after it's big screen debut, have decided to return to the internet.

"We're going for something a little lower key, but just as spectacular", DoDo didn't say. "A dot-co-dot-you-kay domain will suffice, until we manage to prise our dotcom from the dead cold, in-administration grips of our previous hosts".

www.secret7000.co.uk - October 1st. We'll be relaunching with a few new videos and a completely new design.

Boinng may now continue as normal.

Secret7000 - where are they?

I am increasingly concerned about their whereabouts, since secret7000.com is no more. What happened? Where'd they go? After the success of the public screening of The Forest, has fame driven them underground? Wombat, Dodo, Albert, answer me! I demand satisfaction.

Secret 7000 work on the Big Screen

On an as-yet TBA date in July, the Secret 7000 short film The Forest will be shown on the big screen at FACT cinema, in Liverpool, England. The Forest beat about 40 other submitted films to be one of a select few chosen to be shown at Liverpool Film Night, where local filmmakers get to showcase their work to a wider audience.

To say we're excited about this is an understatement - Liverpool Film Night is every 6 months and we hope to submit a film of increasing quality every time.

Details to follow as soon as the

The Secret 7000 release The Forest

Mike continues his slow but steady campaign of Secret 7000 blatant plugging today as "The Forest" is released - a 10 minute, deadpan humour, action horror comedy. We know it's a big download, but awww, it's worth it.
