I disappeared from here about 6 months ago, and the reason why is a little odd, so I thought I'd explain it.

Basically I'm a completist. I like to have the full set of something. So I buy the third book in a trilogy, even if I wasn't too sure about the second. I read the full archives of webcomics, before I add them to my daily trawl. If I get a hole in Wednesday, from the day-of-the-week socks I got for Christmas, I'll probably throw the whole lot out.

Now this is normally all well and good. But If I go on holiday, then I have to catch up on what I've missed while I'm away. The problem is the longer I leave something, the more there is to catch up on. For instance I'm currently 48 posts behind on Groklaw. I've written about this before, I term it forum bankruptcy. So I hereby delclare bankruptcy here. I'm back, and I won't try and catch up on what I missed.
