comic sans : a defence

Thought you font fascists might be interested in this: http://theflowfieldunity.com/2008/03/19/letters/

Good site IMO.

Haven't been by in a while - glad to see you narrowly averted an untimely death earlier in the year...

Oi!! I said "Big changes". Bollocks to yer then!

So Mum's live-in fella of 3 years has just left her for a 30-year-old frump! Frankly, I expected him to fuck up, he's been incapable of sustaining any relationship ever, was on the rebound when he re-met Mum 3 years back and he's a heavy drinker (which he covers pretty well apart from the shaking). Mum's pretty devastated, but well shot of him. I'm absolutely fucking livid.

helvetica is 50 apparently...

I seem to remember we had some font discussion a few months ago when I had my knuckles rapped, and rightly so, for using the despised comic sans on my website... I still blush for very shame to think of it.

speaking of which, myPetersfield (.co.uk) is still going strong, there's lots more on it than when I last dropped in on Boinng, and your comments, advice, recommendations, abuse, whatever, would be very welcome. Don't be strangers...

insurgent Petersfield website gets wash and brush-up...

... which is another way of saying that I've been arseing about with it for the last couple of hours and would be interested in any views as to whether it is more or less accessible, useable, easy-on-the-eye or indeed entirely indistinguishable from what went before. Views, comments, abuse of any sort whatsoever welcomed.

myPetersfield has been in fledgling existence for a month or so. It's really about listings - pubs, restaurants, listings, suppliers and so on - rather that the social networking thing which Boinng does such a good job on. While it's been fun to put together, it's unclear to me so far whether it's the kind of thing that's going to be valued and used by the community.
