Ipod
Bookmarking on mp3 players
Submitted by CrazyDave on Wed, 30/04/2008 - 10:33.What mp3 player do you have, and what bookmarking features does it have?
My iRiver has bitten the dust, and one of the features I most liked about the firmware it had on it was bookmarking. I listened to a few podcasts, and few audiobooks, and occasionally music on it. The ability to be able to listen to music for a while and then return to whre I'd left off in the middle of an hour long podcast is important, but doesn't crop in the reviews of players that I've seen.
Nokia N73. Does not remember place in track when stopped.
New Ipods
Submitted by Tim on Thu, 06/09/2007 - 09:19.Seen the new Ipods? I rather like the look of the Ipod touch, basically the same as the Iphone (with a big touchscreen, Safari web brower, 8 or 16GB and Wifi built in) except it's not a phone, so quite a bit cheaper... you can browse and download new tunes from the Itunes store directly - I don't suppose it will run KCEasy though ![]()
The Nano's have also been reworked, making them a bit wider with a bigger screen which now does video. Not so convinced by them - they don't look quite so nano-small and pocketable now, so I'm not sure why you'd not just save up a little bit more for a Touch.
Ipod vs. Zune

Microsoft have fired their first real shot across the bows of Apple's Ipod with the release of the Zune music player in the US - a 30gb model retailing for the equivalent of £130.
