Where next?

Plots in Turkey against a summit, bombs in Greece practising for the olympics.. anyone want to bet where the next successful attack will be?

Anyone fancy a daytrip to London at the moment?

Anyone happy with this \"safer world\" Bush and Blair have given us?

I fancy a daytrip to London!

but you're right, the world hasn't become safer, at all. It only will when there will be no more rich and poor countries, because that difference is the root all these conflicts.
and if you think throwing bombs at other countries is going to help, you probably didn't think it through...

Re:Where next?

london just seems very, very vulnerable. i can see the houses of parliament going up (or down) one of these days. and then what?

Re:Where next?

we don't seem to have needed one so far, to be fair.. i'd have thought we were their number one target outside of america, which makes it odd that they're hitting places like spain and greece.

Re:Where next?

Maybe the Greece and Spain attacks are like warnings. As if to say to us this is what could happen if we don't change our attitude.
To be fair, i don't think i fully understand the situation but i do know that i agree, bombing people and wars could never in my eyes be a acceptable way to resolve conflict.

the thing is, yes, these attacks are warnings, but i wouldn't say they're only there to warn the english... Spain was one of the countries that supported america right from the beginning as well, which is why they got attacked. The "beauty" is, attack one country, scare everybody.
i think it's quite obvious they're not only aiming at england.

like i said, my guess is, that it would have been more difficult for them to operate in england than in spain... and which country they'd eventually pick, wouldn't really mather anyway (as long as it's part of the "enemy", which we all are, even belgium, even though we're not participating in this whole mess in quite the same way for example england does) ...

Re:Where next?

No i agree, by us i meant the Western culture as a whole rather than just the UK or England.
It's just such a shame that it has had to come to this and inncoent people of every culture have had to die to highlight the issues going on in the world to the masses. For instance, how many people had heard of Osama Bin Laden before September 11th?

Well it's all because we're on the 5th stage of civillisation, stagnation. We're all standing on the verge of a massive world change, something has got to give and the longer we wait the worse it'll be, but the current rulers won't be the ones to suffer we will. the people. the youth we're the ones that have to live with the mistakes of the past and they are mistakes time and time again. everyone's too greedy and we all know it but when everything goes completely tits up can we cope? we have to it's as simple as that. We'll live through this but will we like the change thats coming? anyways enough harbringer rantings...i like cheese................
