Honestly now...

It's absolutely unbearable
It's absolutely unbearable in our office at the mo - the fans are on full blast, but we're still baking. The newly installed "solar shading" (supposedly eco-friendly alternative to aircon) is doing precisely f-all... they're talking about drilling holes in the walls now to let the air through - that'll be nice in the winter

Too Hot
I know the feeling, I have two fans near me circulating the hot air and they aren't helping at all.

There ought to be a law!
There ought to be a law! There's regulations about how cold it can get in the workplace before everyone's entitled to walk out, but no limit going the other way - so employers can happily let us all roast alive without having to do anything about it

err, are you sure there
err, are you sure there doesn't exists such a law? I think we have one in belgium, but i wouldn't know where to look that up
i'm told there isn't one in
i'm told there isn't one in the UK - our health and safety law states a minimum, but not maximum temperature... probably a throwback to Victorian times when workers were basically just fuel for the steam engines..

Actually, for office workers
Actually, for office workers in the UK, there are only guidelines - no enforceable levels or limits.
So, we're stitched up good and proper.

Cooler now, thank feck.
Even sunbathing on the balcony with the fan on me was unbearable.
