The all-new Giant Phone

I speak not of the Giant Phone of today, but the Giant Phone of tomorrow, for leaked pictures and details are now available on the next UIQ smartphone from Sony Ericsson - latest in the "P Series" line which started with my very own P800.
The P950i (codename "Hermione") is actually a touch smaller than it's giant ancestors, but adds 3G, Wi-fi, and a 2mp camera into the mix. An official announcement is expected in October, with it going on sale in February '06. I am destined to own one...

i switched from nokia to sony ericsson, it takes a little getting used to, (no it's not a giant phone), but i'm really happy about this new one. (T 630)

the t630's a cute phone, i can forgive it since it's an SE tho... personally i find SE's easier to use than Nokia's, I think it's just that more people have Nokia's and there's this sort of tribal memory implanted in people that Nokia's = easy, and anything else = hard.

very true, in the summer i met this girl at work who's 16, and when she saw i had a SE, she said she'd never want anything else than nokia, because nothing is easier to use. I asked her whether she ever had a non-Nokia phone, which ofcourse she didn't...
i have to admit i was really fond of Nokia myself before my new cute phone, but that was mainly because they were so cheap...

I've only ever had one phone, and it's a Nokia. My next phone could be anything - whatever suits my budget while having enough funky features

I've been from nokia, to sony ericsson, to sagem and now I'm back to nokia. Of them all, I liked my sagem best, but my nice shiny new nokia's not bad either.

More pictures of the P950 have been leaking out, and it already has it's own fan site at http://www.p950.com , where most of the pics can now be found.. this is almost certainly the phone I'll have after next, although confusingly there's talk that this may not be the only new smartphone Sonyericsson are about to release...

I got a Sony Ericsson K700i when I switched to contract at the start of the year, and I have to say the only problem I have with it is that the noises it makes are slightly too spangly for my liking. I love it anyway.
