Snakes on a Plane

I finally got round to seeing Snakes on a Plane a few days ago, on DVD round at a mate's house.
We found it utterly hilarious! Terrible script, acting and action, but in a 'so bad it's good' way. I couldn't quite decide at times whether it was poking fun at itself and other similar films, or whether it was actually that bad.
Anyone else find it funny, or just plain rubbish?

I went to see it at the cinema. We took plastic snakes with us, and rattled the everytime anyone said snake

I don't know if it's true, but I was told the the movie came about because a bunch of executives were discussing the worst pitches they'd heard that year, and SoaP was so bad they had to make it. Apparently they delayed release after the film started getting hyped in the internet, so they could make it trashier
All the pre-release hype
All the pre-release hype kind of put me off this one - it's one thing to discover a funny, bad film by yourself, but I just hate being told by a million people on the internet, months before the film's been released or anyone's seen it, that it's already some kind of "cult" hit.. I was glad when it ended up being a damp squib at the box office once it was finally released.
