Pancakes and pledges

Any one doing anything for Shrove Tuesday or Lent?
I know someone who detoxed for lent, and I might give that a go, though not for the full length.
I'm having a few people over for (early) pancakes on Thursday.
Look away if you're on a diet.
We'll have duck, fajitas, ham-cheese-and-pickle, followed by ice-cream and maple syrup, or sugar and lemon.

Before this post, I had no idea what shrove tuesday was. That, and Im not catholic so I wont be celebrating either one...

I didn't have any pancakes
I didn't have any pancakes cos i'm dieting although maybe i could have had ones like i used to at Brownies where we would cook them on top of a baked beans can heated by a candle. They were teeny tiny!

My Mum bought me some
My Mum bought me some gluten-free pancake mix, but I was so tired after work that all I could be arsed to eat was several packets of hula hoops and a banana! Soooo healthy!
