i just noticed a new name in the listie thing up top, so i clicked the name to see if they had more info, and it said they were member number 977.. but when you click on the 'members list' on the left over there, it says they were member number 975...
no biggie, but, who taught boinng to count?

there's a semi-sensible explanation for this.. that number on the account page is the unique ID assigned to each member's database entry, while the total on the members page is the number of database entries... if a member is deleted, the number of database entries goes down, but the unique ID of each member remains the same. so when the next member joins, they still get the next number in the sequence.

this was a poster as in print-it-out and stick it on the wall and then lots of people will read it and join boinng poster. was boinng having a recruitment drive or something?
