Does anyone believe he's innocent?

not really, no.

Re:Jacko

that's pretty decisive then. i guess the real question is, does anybody think he should have roaming neverland for the last ten years? he shouldn't have been able to buy his way out of the original charges imo.

Re:Jacko

We were talking about this yesterday. I think he's disturbed. He's very very childlike in his thinking. But I honestly couldn't say whether he's guilty or not.

Innocent until proven otherwise.

Re:Jacko

normally i'd thoroughly agree with that sentiment, except that the last time anyone had the opportunity to prove him guilty in a trial he managed to pay off the witness/victim - so whether he was guilty or innocent, his money meant that justice didn't apply to him.

i think he is childlike in many ways, and it's tempting to pity him, but then there's no mistaking the fact that he's an adult and a father too - as well as a rather astute and sucessful businessman.

Re:Jacko

I can only agree with Tim's point really - no-one should be able to buy themselves out of stuff like this.

Re:Jacko

well that loop hole in the law doesn't apply anymore so this time we'll see whether he's guilty or not

Re:Jacko

Re:Jacko

All i can think of is how much he's messed himself.up. It's scary. If i was a child i wouldn't want to be left alone in a room with him. His face gives me nightmares. [ This message was edited by: smurf-gal on 2003-11-26 09:27 ]

Re:Jacko

makes you think of what action man would look like if he got bleached white and stood infront of a fire too long. It just goes to show how removed money can make a man from his sanity. that said innocent untill proven guilty is something that most people seem to forget of late, especaily the americam law makers (i mean come on why should someone get more time in prison for smoking pot than for killing someone?? it's not even in the same game, never mind leauge)

Re:Jacko

we were talking about this at my reptile centre job (intellectual conversations don't arise too often at asda)...
if michael jackson had been taken to court ten years ago i believe he would've been found innocent... since then everybody has been after his remaining millions... the guy he paid the $40,000,000 to is unemployed (i believe) but living in a manhatten penthouse. and the kids that goto stay at his house, why would their parents let them go in the first place if they thought they might get something out of it... i don't believe jacko would force himself on anyone!!! so now i start the "Micheal Jackson in innocent campaign"!!! you can't just betray him now cos i believe not one of you does not own a mj cassette/cd etc... or at least sings along to his songs... we should stand up and fight!!!! FREE MICHEAL JACKSON

Re:Jacko

Two things wrong with that -

1). Why did he pay out in the first place if he had nothing to fear in court?

2). What does his music have to do with this?

I have an old copy of Bad (got for christmas 198?), and it is truly Bad.

Re:Jacko

that's got nothing to do with this discussion though... it's about him being innocent or not, not about whether he made good albums or who bought them..
