i'm quite looking forward to it. 30 always seemed 'distinguished' to me, not OLD, as my recent comments and tagline might imply. i'm pretty relaxed about it, unlike my 25th, when i started freaking out months before because i was about to be a quarter of a century old. hell, sometimes i STILL have nightmares about turning 25! but 30 will be cake

i just turned 25, but i dont really feel any older. the only thing that bothers me is when i say quarter of a century. that seems like such a long time...

Never allow someone to be your priority, while allowing yourself to be their option.

It's a blessing there's no neat fraction of a century for 30 (33% of a century?) otherwise it'd feel older... I think really 25's the point where you really start to feel old, and get obsessed with most of your twenties being behind you, and it being next-stop 30 - I was feeling ancient for the full five years after that, then 30 actually happened and it was quite fun and now I feel younger, if anything... perhaps it's something to do with being in my early thirties, rather than my late twenties?
