Funk

Anyone else a big funk fan? Just bought a Funkadelic complation t'other day, an I've been listening to BBC 6 Music's The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show for ages now. I also love the funkier stuff from Red Hot Chili Peppers and the James Taylor Quartet.

I'm not really sure I like any music any more. Except for music that I remember from when I did used to like music. I think this is something that happens when you get into your thirties.
I wonder if Pam Ayres is still doing that nice sunday afternoon show on Radio 2..
(PS I'm really just ducking this whole topic because I'm not 100% sure what funk is...)

well, i'm not entirely sure what 'funk' is either, but i do love RHCP. i would've classified them more rock/alt-rock. but then, i haven't heard any new stuff from them in ages, so i could well be wrong....
