My PC has gone mighty tits up. Well, to be more precise, my hard disks have gone. Both of them. At the same time. I've tried all manner of shenanigans but nothing can fix the bad sectors on one of my drives. Unfortunately I have no money at the moment, so it'll be a while until I can afford a new hard disk or two. In the meantime, things are up and running but I don't know how long for. I have a feeling everything could die again without notice :/

Seems to be catching. Although all that's really wrong with my pc is that I need a brand new one, without the hamster-driven fan.

mum's pc broke down not too long ago as well. my dad bought her a new one before even checking it could be repared... (to be fair, in the past she always had to use his old ones)
