The Jodphurs K Bingo stories are pretty weird. I may as well say that right now. They're also quite badly written, and the only reason I put them on Boinng in the first place, back when the site started, was as filler.

I wrote the first of them (which later became the second episode) one day in 1995, mostly to amuse myself, and sent a copy to Jayne, who seemed to like it. Since I was flunking out of uni at the time I had some time on my hands, so I carried on and wrote a few more, starting with a new first episode to try, unsuccessfully, to make sense out of the original. It kind of went on from there.

I don't know where I got any of this from, so don't even ask. I never did know how it was all going to end, which is why it doesn't. Like most of the rest of this site, Jodphurs just is.
