I don't like Mondays

So anyway, the google ads have gone again. I don't know why they keep coming back. Every now and then I get possessed by the spirit of Sergey Brin and start thinking about "monetisation" and "maximising assets", and then I plaster the place with really tacky looking ads, and then a month or two later I realise I've only made about three pence that Google are probably never going to pay me anyway, and in the meantime the whole site's died a death. And in any case, both the people that visit this site probably have Adblock installed anyway.
I know I do.

Anyway, in no particular order, these are the things that are bothering me at the moment.

Friends - I am a really, really terrible friend. Ask anyone. I don't keep in touch, I don't reply to emails, I don't even reply to texts. I'm so anti-social a lot of the time, it's amazing I have any social at all to be anti. It's not deliberate, I don't secretly hate everyone, or even anyone, I just don't seem to be able to keep track. There's never time. I feel bad, really bad about it, pretty much all the time; but that doesn't help the various people that probably feel a little abandoned by me at the moment. Sorry.

Facebook - This kind of ties in with the above, in a really contrary way. I hate Facebook. I know, in theory, it offers me a really really easy way to keep track and keep in with friends - if I accept their Zombies invitation or do their quiz, that's like being their friend right? Only it's just not, it all feels so fake and pointless... so I keep pressing "Ignore", but that just feels worse...

Work - I really don't like Mondays.

I'm the same with friends, but they're the same to me so I don't feel all that bad.
Work is also bad, but I don't have to worry about that for a bit since I've been made redundant.
Facebook is ok. I know what you mean about the fake/pointless aspect, and pressing 'Ignore' loads, but I do actually use it to keep in touch with people. Occasionally.
