Decisions...
Well after having the very nice M600i as my current giant phone since November, I've naturally been planning my next upgrade. I thought Sony Ericsson had made it easy for me when they announced the P1i.
P1iThe P1i is a new P series phone carrying on the legacy of the old P800, P910 etc but in an M600i-styled form, complete with the brilliant qwerty keyboard - it differs from the M600i with the addition of a 3.2mp camera (the M had none), Wifi, and more memory to run applications. Very nice, I thought.
Now, though, they've gone and confused matters by announcing the W960i - an update to the Walkman-based cousin of the M600i, the W950. Like the P1i it also has the camera, wifi, and extra memory - and it also has a massive 8gb of built in storage for music etc. Perhaps more importantly, it looks like this -
W960i
Sharing the touchscreen of the other phones, this one supposedly has "finger navigation" - whether that's an actual new feature or just a thinly veiled prod at the iphone, I don't know...
The thing is, I like it quite a lot. It doesn't have the keyboard, but it does have the looks, not to mention all the other functionality of the more business-oriented smartphones...

Crikey, how much does one of those cost? Looks nice though, I do like Sony Ericssons.
My next phone is gonna be either a Nokia or a SE. I was ogling this phone today (just got one in the office recently).
