Wot I dun on me Birfday. By Jayne, aGeD 34

Thank you to all that have, or will have wished me well, either here or by text. As ever I have no credit, even today! Smiling

I did indeed have a lovely day, well, weekend......

Friday night I went out with Gav, had a few beers and I did a bit of singing on the karaoke, as you do. We then went back to the 'Luxury Townhouse Apartment', as he jokingly likes to call it (because I don't live with him, I live out of the town centre, mine is 'The Country Residence'!) and spent a very relaxing evening eating junk food, watching trashy telly and suchlike.......

On Saturday my beloved gave me money to buy shoes to go with the outfit I'd chosen to wear that night, at HIS suggestion, not mine! I managed to get two pairs! Gotta love New Look!

Saturday night was another night of a few beers. We left the pub at 12.20am, having had 2 and a half-ish pints of Stella. This doesn't sound much until you know that I gave up drinking 5-6 years ago and only recently started having the odd couple of halves!

Felt a little delicate Sunday morning, so I got up at 1.30pm, watched Shoot 'em Up with Gav and his daughter. Then I went to see my Dad's family for the remainder of the day, 'till the twins went to bed. Brilliant day of nearly-2-year-old- nonsense, I love it, they make me chuckle constantly!

Monday - Went out with my Auntie for possibly our first ever day out with just me and her. Although we missed having my Mum with us, but she had to work and Grandma, because she has very bad knees and couldn't wander around shops and such.

Auntie lives away, so we don't get to see her often, or for very long, usually just a weekend and it tends to be a whole bunch of us meeting for a day and then all buggering off again. This time she was able to stay awhile, because of half term (she's a teaching a assistant for children with learning difficulties), which has been lovely.

Then we came home and I cooked a really yummy dinner for us all to make up for Mum not being with us for the day. Grandma doesn't have a big meal at night so she didn't join us at ours.

I got some lovely pressies and all in all my Birthday Weekend has been just about perfect. Laughing out loud

Tomorrow it's off to Chichester with all three women, which may drive me mad, but shall try to be calm. Having said that, I would appear to be becoming unwell with a sore, achey throat and stiff neck. Way too much singing lately, got to rest the voice, avoid karaoke whilst rehearsing.
