I remember back before the change over to drupal, that users had the option to create password-protected entries. This option seems to be gone now. But what of the old password-protected entries? Are they wide open now, or where they not brought over?

So, I figured I would make my first blog entry ever on this site (the drupal one) and make history. But then I saw that I had made a few entries way back in the day. What a surprise! I had forgotten about all of those. It looks like the last entry I had made was when I was stationed up in Alaska - about a year and a half ago.

So, I got my new assignment a couple days ago. It seems that Ill be moving to Las Vegas, Nevada this coming October. Dont know how long Ill be living there, or what Ill be doing.

Ive only heard good things about it so far, so thats a good thing. Also heard the population is growing there about 2-3 thousand a week. But that seems a teeny bit high to sound factual to me.

Either way, im really excited about going - and so is Hannah. We plan on driving down through the Alcan Highway (Alaska-Canada) which takes a few days driving 12 hours a day and driving through the rest of the US which should take a few more days. If anyone wants to tag along - your more than welcome to.

I just noticed that im the author of 3 of the top 10 most read stories on boinng.

Websites are no longer boring...

I dont know why, but websites have been increasingly boring lately. All of them. Mine, yours, his - even theirs. Boring. They just dont apeal to me anymore. This is no ones fault - so dont take offense to it if you run one.

Everything gets boring eventually, which is why we dont play with G.I. Joes or Barbies anymore. People grow out of things. I dont know if im growing out of 'websites' or this is just a stage.

Chat is pretty boring lately too. I havent been signed onto any messengers for more than 15 minutes in the past couple weeks. Why? Boring. The people i talk to (the ones that are on anyway) just arent as exciting as they use to be. They have their own lifes to live, that im just not a part of anymore. The ones that are (or were) exciting to talk to - i just cant be arsed to click on their name and say hi.

I now know how to drive a stick. I learned saturday night when i had to be DD (designated driver) and i was the only one capable of driving and the only car was a stick. It was alot easier than i thought it was going to be.

Tim, you need to stop having a life. What do you need a life for anyway?

You could stop doing all that normal people stuff and make a webcast module with a thumbnail and link to members webcams if they choose to have them.

You could have a forum-ring to everyones (albeit) dead(ening) forum.

You could add more amusing stories to the stories section for your readers entertainment in the wee hours when no one else is here to converse with.
